Q1 marks the start of BPMessentials‘ 7th year of BPMN training.  Most of those classes have used Process Modeler for Visio from itp commerce as the BPMN tool, but we’ve now added a strong alternative in Signavio.  Signavio is a cloud-based BPMN editor and team repository with a strong presence in Europe, and now entering the US market.  Like the itp tool, Signavio supports Method and Style validation directly in the editor, so I can use it for the post-class certification exercise so important to the BPMessentials learning model.  The training content – Level 1 and Level 2 BPMN vocabulary, the Method, and elements of BPMN Style – is the same on Signavio as it is on the itp commerce tool.  With Signavio, each student has his or her own private space within the classroom workspace.  Through a web browser, they access the iLinc e-learning environment in one window, and Signavio BPMN in another window.

Our first Signavio-based class is live-online January 8-10, from 8am to 1pm each day ET, or 2pm-7pm in Europe.  (Sorry, West Coasters… it’s a bit early for you.)  To celebrate the launch, I am offering this class at a special price of $695.  That includes the training, 60-days use of the Signavio tool, and post-class certification.  For more information about our live-online training, click here.  To sign up, simply click here.  To qualify for this special price (normally $1095), just enter the coupon code SIG1422.  You must do it by December 31!  If you’ve been looking for a great zero-footprint team environment for BPMN, with training and certification to go along with it, check out Signavio.  Start out the new year right by getting your whole team on the same [BPMN] page!
